HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-271CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinq of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of May , 1987, The followin m bers were present: Mayor Schneider, ounce mem ers Crate', Sisk, Zitur and glfasii llou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the followinq_ Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 271 APPROVING -SALE INTOXICATING AND SUNDAY SALES LICL4SES FOR SCANTICON MINNESOTA WHEREAS, application for on -sale Intoxicating liquor and Sunday sales licenses have been received from Scanticon Minnesota, 3033 Campus Drive, for consideration and approval by the Plymouth City Council in accordance with Plymouth City Code, Chapter XII, Section 1210; and WHEREAS, all fees have been paid, and the Police Department has investigated the applicant and finds no reason to deny the license; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that on -sale intoxicating liquor and Sunday sales licenses be approved for the period beginning June 1, 1987 through January 31, 1988 for Scanticon Minnesota with the following conditions: 1. Provision of surety bond in the amount of $4,000 as required by 1206.19, Subd 2 of the City liquor license code. 2. Provision of comprehensive, general liability, and liquor liability Insurance in compliance with City code 1206.19 Subd 3 and MN Chapter 340A. 3. Compliance with Title 27 of the U.S. Code requiring a Federal Liquor Tax Certificate for the seller of distilled spirits.
