Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 29th
day of April , 1987 The following members were
present: Manor Schneider. Councilmembers rat" Zitur. and Sisk
The following members were absent: Cnuncilmember Vasiliou
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
Its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-270
RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE SPECIAL ELECTION
RESULTS OF APRIL 28, 1987
WHEREAS, a Special Election was held on the 28th day of April, 1987, in the City
of Plymouth, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, this Council has canvassed the returns of said Special Election alonq
with all other pertinent data relative to this election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it is hereby found and determined that at the Special
Election held to the City of Plymouth, April 28, 1987, to vote on the following
question:
"Shall the City of Plymouth Issue Its general obligation bonds`in an amount not
exceeding $1,700,000 for the purpose of providing money for the construction of
Fire Station III, remodeling of Fire Station I, and purchase of fire apparatus."
there were 1 440 votes in favor of the question, 114 votes against the
question, and 0 ballots were illegible, spot e -d, or otherwise defective
and the questioTl�ereby declared carried by more than the required majority
vote.
