HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-269CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of Aari1 , 1987. The following members were present: MayorS h� n id r, Councilmemhers Crain Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-269 RESOLUTION REJECTING BID DEEP WELLS N0. 8 AND 9 - PUMPING FACILITIES PROJECT NO. 625 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Deep Wells No. 8 and 9, pumping facilities, Citv Project No. 625; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: AND, WHEREAS, objections have been made to the award of a contract by Richmar Construction.and A & K Construction, Inc.; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to reject all bids. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: That all bids be rejected and the Engineer be directed to revise the specifications. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
