Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plyrouth, Minnesota was held on the 20t) day of

COUncilmember Sisk introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:

RESCI.UTICN FCR PUBLIC HEARING CN PRO'OSID ASSESSMENT
1986 WEIR ERADICATICN AND 13g.MXLT1CN C1AFKES, ROLL 3 AND 4
WlEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 20, 1987 the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the total cost for the
destruction and eradication of noxious weeds on certain lands within the City
as provided by law; and
%HEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public
Inspection;
NOW, 'I1SWKIRE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY CIIIWIL CF TSE CITY OF
PLD43 M, MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the 18th day of May, 1987 in the
City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such
proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning
property affected by such inprovenent will be given an opportunity
to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing
on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official
newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state
in the notice the total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall
also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel
described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted In favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
