Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of ttie
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of April , 1987. The
following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou,Zitur,
and Sisk The
following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-250
APPROVING A HOME OCCUPATION CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR DEBRA CARLSON AT 10415 49TH
AVENUE NORTH (87016)
WHEREAS, Debar Carlson has requested a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation to
operate a beauty salon in her residence at 10415 49th Avenue North; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-
NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Debra Carlson for a
Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation to operate a beauty salon in her home at
10415 49th Avenue North, subject to the following conditions:
1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordinances, and
violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. The permit is issued to Debra Carlson as operator of the facility and shall not be
transferable.
3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner.
4. There shall be no signage allowed on the property relative to the use.
5. The permit shall be renewed in one year to assure compliance with the conditions.
6. A copy of the current State license shall be provided prior to issuance of the
Permit and shall be kept on file with the City.
7. Compliance with applicable Building and Fire Code requirements shall be verified
by the City prior to Permit issuance.
8. Debra Carlson shall be the operator and the only employee under this Permit.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Commissioner Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: 5 Ayes
The following
voted against or abstained:none Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
