HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-241CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of April , '1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, Zitur, and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk adoption: introduced the following Resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 87-241 APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, AND VARIANCE FOR MT OLIVET LUTHERAN CHURCH (87003) WHEREAS, Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church has renl,esied approval of a Site Plan Amendment, Conditional Use Permit and Variance for thr., expansion of the church at 12235 County Road 9; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for a Site Plan Amendment, Conditional Use Permit, and Variance for Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church to allow the expansion of the sanctuary; and improvements and enlargement of the parking area at the church located at 12235 County Road 9, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreement for completion of site improvements. 3. Any signage shall be in compliance with the Ordinance. 4. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 5. Compliance with the Ordinance regarding the locatir-n of fire hydrants. 6. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within the enclosure and no outside storage is permitted. 7. An 8 112 x 11 inch "As -Built" Fire Protection Plan shall he submitted prior to the release or reduction of any site improvement bonds per City Policy. S. Concrete curb and gutter shall be installed around all parking areas, except where it adjoins the area of future expansion. 10. The existing building in the northeast corner of the site shall be removed prior to the issuance of a building permit. The motion for adopt; on of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 5 Ayes The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and edopted.
