Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Citv
Council of the Citv of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day
of April , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the fo:lowiny,, Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-240
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
CERTAIN DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
VICKSBURG WEST 2ND ADDITION
OUTLOTS A, C AND E
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage easements in
Vicksburg West 2nd Addition, Outlots A, C and E; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for April
20, 1987 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of April 20, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on April 20, 1987 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage
easements in the Vicksburg West 2nd Addition, Outlots A, C and E; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following drainage easements are vacated:
The 50.00 foot Drainage Easement that lies within Outlots A, C and E
in Vicksburg West 2nd Addition, according to the plat thereof on file
or of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Sisk, Crain,
Zitur and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
