HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-239CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of A ril , 1987. The followingmembers were present:W yor Schneider, ounce mem ers rain, Sisk, Zitur andVasiliou The fallowing members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 239 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND PONDING EASEMENTS IN HERITAGE WEST ADDITION OUTLOTS B AND C WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and ponding easements in Heritage West Addition, Outlots B and C; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for April 20, 1987 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of April 20, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on April 20, 1987 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage and ponding easements in the Heritage West Addition, Outlots B and C; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said drainage and ponding easements were not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following drainage and ponding easements be vacated: The Drainage Easement for Ponding that lies within Outlots B and C in Heritage West, according to the recorded plat thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliog The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 5
