HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-201CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City io Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t,e 16th day of March , 1987 . The following members were present: Mayor ngider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,.Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none RRR Coucilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 201 APPROVING JOINT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR RECREATIONAL SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITIES OF WAYZATA AND PLYMOUTH WHEREAS, during the summer of 1986, the cities of Wayzata and Plymouth conducted a trail program with the City of Plymouth providing Wayzata's recreational services; and WHEREAS, the 1986 program proved to be successful for both cities; and • WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that said joint agreement continue during future years; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, IINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into an agreement for joint and cooperative recreational services between the City of Plymouth and the City of Wayzata as set forth in a memorandum from the Director of -Parks and Recreation dated March 10, 1987. the motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by o n ilm mbbeer Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following51-SK, vatI0 an2rZ ureO : Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, . owing voted against or a sta none lhereupm the Resolution was declared duly pass adopted.
