Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of
March , 1987. The following members wereresent: Mayor
Schneider, ouncilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 87- 198
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1987 UTILITY EXTENSIONS AND
BERG 2ND ADDITION UTILITIES
WHEREAS, Che City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 6
Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for 1987 Utilitv
Extensions and Berg 2nd Addition Utilities; and
WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which i:< attached hereto
and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserte,i in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement
for bids upon the making of such improvement rncler such approved
plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
for three days, shall specify the work tm be done, shall state
that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on
April 10, 1987, at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the
City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check,
bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five
percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
