HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-187CITY OF PLVNMH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of March , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmem ers Crain, Sisk, — Vasiliou and Zitur — The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-187 AUTHORIZING REDUCTION OF SITE PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE FOR LUNDGREN BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR MISSION PONDS (A-338) WHEREAS, a Site Plan for Lundgren Brothers Construction Co., for Mission Ponds, located at the northeast corner of 36th Avenue North and Zachary Lane was approved under City Council Resolution No. 77-558; and, WHEREAS, the developer submitted the required Site Performance Guarantee in the form of a bond in the amount of $25,000.00; and, WHEREAS, upon notice from the developer that the required site improvements have been completed, City staff has inspected said site; and, WHEREAS, The City Council considered a request to release the Bond on January 12, 1987, and after concerns were raised by the President of the Homeowner's Association, staff was directed to reinspect the site; and, WHEREAS, the site has been re -inspected and City staff recommends the reduction of the financial guarantee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the reduction of the Bond No. 54-14460 In the amount of $25,000.00 which was submitted to guarantee site improvements for Lundgren Brothers Construction Co. for Mission Ponds located at northwest corner of 36th Avenue North and Zachary Lane, to $7.000.00 The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coun�ilmember Zitur ,and upon vote bet -g taken thereon, the follow voted n favor thereof: eider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Res 1iou and Zitur he o owing nst or abstained: n9ne Whereupon the was declared duly­passea and adopted.
