HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-171CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of March , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none ,NNr it#�k dnk�k Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-171 ACCEPTING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT 36 INCH STORM SEWER, RANCHVIEW LANE SOUTH OF 26TH AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the improvements of Ranchview Lane South of 26th Avenue by the construction of 36 inch storm sewer and all the necessary appurtenances, filed with the Council on March 2, 1987, and WHEREAS, it is proposed to make such improvements and to assess the benefiting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota State Statutes, Sections 429.035. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement and petition is referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. for study and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained:.
