Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day
of March , 1987. The following members were present:
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-170
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
LARCH LANE, SOUTH OF THE CUL-DE-SAC ADJACENT TO
LOT 6, BLOCK 2
RAPPAPORT ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, James L. Patach has petitioned the City
Council for the vacation of Larch Lane South of the cul-de-sac adjacent to Lot
6, Block 2, Rappaport Addition; and
WHEREAS, the following is a description of the requested vacation:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 2, Rappaport
Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence on an assumed bearing
of North 22 degrees 27 minutes 50 seconds West along the East line
of said Lot 6 a distance of 109.61 feet; thence Easterly, Northerly
and Northwesterly along a nontangential curve, concave to the North
having a radius of 50.00 feet, a central angle of 90 degrees, and a
chord of 70.71 feet which bears North 22 degrees 32 minutes 10
second East for an arc distance of 78.54 feet to a point on the
East right-of-way line of Larch Lane; thence South 22 degrees 27
minutes 50 seconds East along said right-of-way line a distance of
180.39 feet to the Southeast corner of said Rappaport Addition;
thence North 89 degrees 54 minutes 19 seconds West a distance of
54.14 feet to the point of beginning.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
April 6, I987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing
as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Coijacilmembers Crain-
Sisk,
rainSisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
