HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-165CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the2nd_ day of March , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor c ne er, Councilmembers Crain, Fisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-165 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT CUL-DE-SAC AT EAST END OF 30TH AVENUE NORTH - EAST OF EAST MEDICINE LAKE BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvements of 30th Avenue North by the installation of bituminous street to complete the cul-de-sac at the East end of said street, East of East Medicine Lake Boulevard, filed with the Council on March 2, 1987, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners and property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota State Statutes, Sections 429.035. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement is recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Cnuneilmemher Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider.
