HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-161Pursuant Council Marc Mayor The foil CITY OF PLYMOUTH to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of h , 1987. The following members were present: c nei er, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur owing members were absent: none COuncilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-161 T.H. 55/GOLDENROD LANE IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 704 STATE PROJECT NO. 2723-82 WHEREAS, the City's Consultant, Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. has prepared a preliminary layout for the improvement of the intersection at T.H. 55 and Goldenrod Lane; and WHEREAS, said improvement will provide a Northbound to Eastbound right turn lane with "free right" island and acceleration area on Goldenrod Lane approaching Trunk Highway 55, also designating the left lane approach lane as a lane for through and left turning traffic. WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has requested the City of Plymouth to indicate its willingness to share in the cost of the project; and WHEREAS, said City's share of the estimated project cost is $10,506. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City will participate in the cost of the project in an estimated amount of $10,506. The City's share of the cost will be allocated in the future from the M.S.A. Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
