HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-120CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of February , 1987. The following members were present: jaXgr Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Z tur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-120 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT PROPOSED FERNBROOK WOODS ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 720 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of Plymouth. Minnesota: 1. A certain petition submitted by Marvin H. Anderson Construction Company requesting the improvements of the proposed Fernbrook Woods Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain lateral and services, street, concrete curb and gutter improvements and all necessary appurtenances (including Fernbrook Lane), filed with the Council on March 9, 1987 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners and property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota State Statutes, Sections 429.035. 2. The petitioner has waived his rights to public improvement hearings and special assessment hearings on this project. 3. The petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc., and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjuntion with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement is recommended. 4. The engineer shall not start work on the report until the City Council has approved the Preliminary Plat. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmamber Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, The following voted against or abstained:. none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
