Pursuant to L.ue call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day
of February , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor c nei er, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-119
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
DRAINAGE EASEMENT - LOT 4, BLOCK 2
SNYDER'S LAKEVIEW ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Donald G. and Sarah E. Colpitts have
petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage
easement:
A permanent easement for ponding and drainage purposes over, under,
across and through that part of Lot 4, Block 2, Snyder's Lakeview
Addition lying Westerly and Southerly of the following described
line: Beginning at a point on the North line of said Lot 4,
distant 25 feet East from the Northwest corner thereof; thence
Southeasterly parallel to the Southwesterly line of said Lot 4, 17C
feet; thence East parallel to the North line of said Lot 4; 75
feet; thence Northeasterly to a point on the East li.ne of Lot 4, 35
feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 4.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
March lb, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing
as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
