HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-118CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of February , 1987. Thr following members were. present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were abstnt: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-118 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF LARCH LANE, ADJACENT TO LOT 7, BLOCK 3 LARCH HEIGHTS LAGOON 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Craig Scherber has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following street right-of-way: All that part of the public street right-of-way known as Larch Lane, located in the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4, Section 11, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies Westerly of a line 60.00 feet Westerly, measured radially and at right angles from the Westerly line of Lot 2, Block 4, Larch Heights Lagoon 2nd Addition and lying Northerly of the Soo Line Railroad Company right-of-way. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of March 16, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemher Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. 1lasiliou_ and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
