Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day
of February , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 114
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
PROJECT NO. 431
ZACHARY LANE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has ordered Project No. 431; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements certain property is required;
and
WHEREAS, extensive engineering studies have been performed which show this as
the only logical site for the needed Water Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and expedient in the
interests of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens
of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence
condemnation proceedings for Project No. 431 to purchase the following
described property:
Description of Property: (PIN # 14-118-22-14-0001)
The East 468 feet of that part of the Southeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, lying North
of Rockford Road.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vaailibu, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
