Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rgqWlar meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was belt' on the 2nd day of
February , 19 87. The following members were present:

Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 92
A RESOLUTION SETTING PARK DEDICATION FEES FOR 1987
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has a policy setting forth park dedication
fees for residential and commercial/industrial property; and
WHEREAS, the City assessor has concluded that undeveloped residential property
is selling for approximately $13,000 per acre, and undeveloped commercial/
industrial property for approximately $32,000 per acre; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that a park
dedication fee of $575 per unit be set for residential property and that
a fee of $2,700 per acre be used for commercial/industrial property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said recommendation and finds this
recommendation to be appropriate, based on the assessor's land estimates,
and in comparison with park fees from other metropolitan communities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the 1987 park fees shall be $525 per residential
unit and $2,700 per acre for commercial/industrial property effective
March 1, 1987.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitu; _ , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
