HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-082CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of February , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-82 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT OUTLOT "A", MONTGOMERY SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Berg and Associates have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following utility and drainage easement: DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: Outlot A, Montgomery 2nd Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof. DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE VACATED: A permanent easement for utility and drainage purposes over, under, across and through that part of the South 10 feet of the above described parcel lying East of the West 10 feet, thereof, and West of the Southeasterly 25 feet thereof as measured perpendicular to the Southeasterly line of said above described parcel. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of March 2, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,'Sisk, Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
