HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-077CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the 2nd of Februar , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor .c ne er, ouncitmembers Crain Sisk, Vasiliou. and Zitur The following members were absent: none the City day Couneilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-77 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND KINGSVIEW FIGHTS ADDITION (84100) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated April 10, 1985 Harstad-Todd Construction Company, developer of Kingsview Height9 Addition (84100) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM. ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ Sanitary Sever Watermain Storm Sewer Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Site Gradin` and Drainage Improvements Park and Trail Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As -Built& 18,660 $ -0- -0- -0- 13,470 -0- 23,160 -0- 3,000 1,500 -0- -0- 300 300 15,000 -0- -0- -0- 8,831 216 $ 82,421 $ 2,016 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $82,421 to $2,016 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 87-77 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items par Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: Letter of Credit: ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $ 11000 $ 1,000 $13,000 $ 6,500 FITRTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the watermain, storm sewer, street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted for continual maintenance as of February 2, 1987 subject to the One Year Guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. aeit it,t aa�
