HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-071CITY OF Et HOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of Februar1987. The following members were present: Ma or Schneider Zouneilmembers ra n, Ms VasTliou and Utur e following ers were absent: none Councilwewber Sisk Introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-71 APPROVING GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT, SITE PLAN, AND CONDITIONAL USF PERMIT FOR HAMPTON INN HOTEL/MORSE PROPERTIES (86136) WHEREAS, Morse Properties has requested approval of a General Development Plan Amend- ment, Site Plan, and Conditional Use Permit for Hampton Inn Hotel/Morse Properties to construct a 130 room hotel west of Fernbrook Lane and South of Harbor Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Hampton Inn Hotel/Morse Properties for a General Development Plan Amendment, Site Plan, and Conditional Use Permit for the construction of a 130 room hotel west of Fernbrook Lane and south of Harbor Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication In accordance with the Dedication Policy in effect at the time of Building Permit Issuance. 3. Submission of required financial quarantee and Site Performance Agreement for completion of site improvements. 4. Any signage shall be In compliance with the Ordinance. S. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 6. Compliance with the Ordinance regarding the location of fire hydrants and fire lanes. 7. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within the enclosure, and no out- side storage Is permitted. 8. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordinances, and violation thereof Ohall be grounds for revocation. IPLEASE SEE PAGE Two Page two Resolution No. 87-71 9. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner. 10. There shall be no outside display, sales, or storage of merchandise or related materials. 11. The permit shall be reviewed in one year to assure compliance with the conditions. 12. Compliance with applicable Building and Fire Code requirements shall be verified by the City prior to Permit issuance.
