HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-062CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of February , 1987. The following members were present: May©r Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: nnne Councilwawber Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-62 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PARKERS WOODS ADDITION AND ADJACENT AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT N0. 507 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 87-52 of the City Council adopted the 12th day of January 1987, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to utility and street improvements in the Parkers Woods Addition and adjacent area; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of watermain, sanitary sever, storm sever and street improvements to serve the Parkers Woods Addition and adjacent area; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 2nd day of February 1987, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted January 12, 1987. 2. Bonestroo, Rosen*, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as this engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. The construction contract will not be awarded until the owners of Parkers Woods Addition enter into a developer's agreement with the City of Plymouth. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
