HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-038CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of January , 1987. The following members were present: The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur �rirlt #r�r1r ite�ir Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-33 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY KINGSVIEW LANE ADJACENT TO LOTS 11 THROUGH 17, BLOCK 2 SUBURBANDALE ON PARKERS LAKE WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain street right-of-way, Kingsview Lane adjacent to Lots 6 through 17, Block 2, Suburbandale on Parkers Lake; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for January 12, 1987 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of January 12, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 12, 1987 ter inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of Kingsview Lane adjacent to Lots 6 through 17, Block 2, Suburbandale on Parkers Lake; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following street right-of-way be vacated: Kingsview Lane ;:,ciginally platted as Lake Street and Lakeahore Commons) adjacent to Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17, Block 2 Suburbandale on Parkers Lake. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resclution was duly seconded by Councilmember VAS MOu , and upon vot-- being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor S hr idery CoMD&JIMMMrs &raj,p. Sisk. and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: non! Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly p^sse:za and adopted.
