HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-034CITY OF PLYMOUTH Puesuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of January , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Crain Sisk and Vasiliou The following members were absent: -CouncIlMeffiber Litur COuncilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-34 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS GROVES OFFICE PARK AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 648 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 86-832 of the City Council adopted the 15th day of December, 1986, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to utility and street improvements in the Groves Office Park Area; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements in the Groves Office Park Area; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 12th day of January, 1987, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The improvements of the 13th Avenue/County Road 18 intersection and the County Road 18/Highway 55 frontage Road are hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted December 15, 1986. 2. Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. The improvement of 10th Avenue is deferred pending a report to the Council on the impact of development in the vicinity and its impact upon the Thoroughfare Guide Plan and proposed 10th Avenue. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Cnuncilmemher Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *** tet* ***
