Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of
January , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-14
APPROVING AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF
NO PARKING SIGNS ON VARIOUS STREETS
WHEREAS, substantial on street parking has been noted on the various streets;
and
WHEREAS, such parking creates a public nuisance and potential traffic
congestion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should and hereby does authorize the installation
of "NO PARKING" signs on both sides of the following streets:
1. Olive Lane - County Road 6 to 14th Avenue
2. 14th Avenue - Olive Lane to Highway 101
3. County Road 9/County Road 18 Frontage Road - Nathan Lane to 45th
Avenue.
4. Teakwood Lane - Between Sunset Trail and Ridgemount Avenue
adjacent to the sidewalk into Sunset Hill School (East side
only).
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembgrs Crain. Sisk.
Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
