HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-008Cm OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of Januarx 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schn�ec, Councilmembers Sisk, Crain Vasiliou and Zitur efollowing members were absent: None Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption* RESOLUTION NO. 87-08 APPROVING TAXI DRIVER LICENSES WHEREAS, applications for Taxi Driver licenses have been received for consideration and approval by the Plymouth City Council in accordance with Plymouth Cide Code, Chapter 1146; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted investigations of the applicants and finds no reason to deny the licenses requested; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, tht Taxi Driver licenses be approved for a period from January 1, 1987 through December 31, 1987 for the following: YELLOW TAXI SERVICE Michael Bronston Robert Pace Curtis Anderson Edwin Lue Michael Ripley Kenneth White William Coats Richard Gibeau Edward Simonich Francis Bennett Bruce Stein Philip Aaron Steven Robinson Millard Bren Gary Matter Ross Erickson Chiragh Ahmend Larry Dearing Taher Ibrahim Tim Swiler Gabriel Limongelli Roger Huggett Richard Bouchard, Jr. Dwight Bradley Steven Varhol Larry Dearing Kenneth Jensen Francis Bennett Barbara Jensen Donald Langbehn Robert Savitt TOWN TAXI Samuel Gordon Ronald Taylor Henry Bierbrauer John Elkins George Scott Garry Bosch AND FURTHER, that such approval is contingent upon the receipt by the City of accept- able certificates of insurance no later than January 31, 1987 documenting continuous liability insurance coverage throughout the calendar year in the amounts set forth by Plymouth City Code. AND FURTHER, that if the required Certificate of Insurance is not provided to the City by January 31, 1987, this license is void as of February 1, 1987. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur _'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Sisk, ip Crain Zitur and Vasiliou The following voted aga nit or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
