Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of Januar �, 1987. The

Councilmember Sisk introduced the followinq Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-03
APPROVING RENEWAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MINNEAPOLIS AUTO AUCTION (85075)
WHEREAS, Minneapolis Auto Auction has requested approval for the renewal of the
Conditional Use Permit approved under Resolution No 85-842 to allow outside storage of
automobiles on property at 1605 County Road 18; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-
NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Minneapolis Auto Auction
to approve the renewal of the Conditional Use Permit approved under Resolution No.
85-842 to allow outside storage of automobiles on property at 1605 County Road 18,
subject to the following conditions:
1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordinances, and
violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. The permit is issued to the Minneapolis Auto Auction as operator of the facility
and shall not be transferable.
3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner; no outside storage of trailers
Is permitted.
4. There shall be no signage allowed on the property relative to the use.
5. The permit shall be reviewed in one year to assure compliance with the conditions.
6. All parking shall be off-street in designated areas and not on adjoining public
streets.
7. Appropriate legal documents between Oakmar Industries and Minneapolis Auto Auction
shall be prepared, with a copy to be provided to staff, allowing for the temporary
use of property owned by Oakmar Industries by Minneapolis Auto Auction.

8. If it is determined by the City or property owner that there is a greater need for
parking for the use of this property, the storage of vehicles and employee parking
by the Minneapolis Auto Auction shall cease so that Ordinance required parking can
be provided.
9. At the time of annual review, a written description of the use of the property and
management techniques with respect to control of the loudspeaker and traffic
circulation shall be provided. Included with the written description should be a
copy of all flyers used to inform customers and drivers of the appropriate
circulation routes on public roadways.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the o owinq

Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
