HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-843CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the day of _Dg-cember a 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none ftf *t• wwf Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-843 APPROVING 1987 INTERIM COMPENSATION PLAN WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a salary administration program for employees of the City not represented by collective bargaining agenices: and WHEREAS, in accordance with those policies, the City Manaqer has provided this Council with a report, dated December 11, 1986, in which he has recommended the adoption of an interim compensation plan consistent with the salary administration program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Office, Professional -Technical, and Supervisory -Administrative - Management interim compensation plan as submitted by the City Manager in his report dated December 11, 1986, be and the same as hereby approved effective January 1, 1987. FURTHER, the Council recognizes that the proposed plan is intended for interim implementation until such time in 1987 as the Manager will propose a compensation and classification plan and implementation strateqy to meet the mandate of the Minnesota Pay Equity Law.
