Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on Me- 15t day of
December , 19 86. The following mhxibers were present:

Councilmember Crain - introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-808
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR 1HE
ZACHARY PLAYFIELD LANDSCAPING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the consulting firm of Bonestroo and Associates has prepared
final plans and spec'fics_ions for landscaping of the Zachary Playfield,
and
WHEREAS, the 1987 capital improvements budget contemplates $35,000 to
accomplish this project, and
WHEREAS, the Park and RecreaLion Advisory Commission has reviewed said
plans and specifications and recommended their approval, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has reviewed and recommends
the approval of said plans and specifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, M177NESOTA, that plans and specifications for the Zachary
Lane playfield landscaping project are hereby approved and further,
that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with
said project with the allocation of ;35,000 of park dedication funds
to be transferred to the construction account from the 218 city parks/
community playfields account.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing votiX Mn ravor ereo : Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
