Pursuant t, due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day
of November , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-772
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
11TH AVENUE AND 12TH AVENUE IN GLEASON TRAIL ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, City has received a petition from Richard
Neslund petitioning the City Council for the vacation of the following street
right-of-way:
The legal description of the two parcels to be vacated are as
follows:
All that part of the 11th Avenue North and 12th Avenue
North right-of-way as dedicated in the plat of Gleason
Trail, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, lying Westerly of the Northerly and
Southerly extension of the West line of Vicksburg Lane, as
dedicated in said Gleason Trail.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IL-IREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: Tl.at it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
December 15, 1986 at 7:31 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center,
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing
as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
