HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-770CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th of November _ , 1986. The following members were present: The following members were absent: none the City day Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-770 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - OAKWOOD SHORES 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Begin Construction requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Oakwood Shores 2nd Addition NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF rHE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Oakwood Shores 2nd Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on November 17, 1986 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they haze waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolut*on was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sis Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
