HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-753CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of Nnvpmhpr , 1986. The following members were present: MaXor Schneider. Council -embers Crain Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: non rnuncilMembar Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-753 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND DEVRIES 2ND ADDITION (83031) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development con�ract dated March 28, 1984, DeVries Builders, Inc., developer of DeVries 2nd Addition (83031) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ -0- $ _O_ Sanitary Sewer -0- -0- Watermain -0- -0- Storm Sewer -0- -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 5,000 1,200 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 450 450 Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning 2,000 500 Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan 2,000 1,000 Site Grading 34,408 -0- Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 5,263 378 TOTAL $ 49,121 $ 3,528 That the letter of credit required be reduced from $4,984 to $3,528 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the letter of credit required for public improve- ments (Project 337) originally set at $125,732 per the approved development contract can be reduced to $0 (zero) now that Levy Number 9711 has been certified to Hennepin County and certain assessments have been paid as individual lots are sold. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk Vasiliou and 7itur The following voted against or abstained. none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
