HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-733CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special _ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of October , 1986. The following members were present: Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-733 HIGHWAY 101 IMPROVEMENTS LANDSCAPING PLAN CITY PROJECT NO. 413 WHEREAS, in conjunction with the improvement of Highway 101 by the Minnesota Department of Transportation a substantial amount of trees were removed adjacent to Kreatz Lake; and WHEREAS, MnDOT will not replace the trees as part of their improvement project; and WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the City to reestablish trees and shrubs along the newly constructed roadway adjacent to Kreatz Lake; and 10 WHEREAS, the City Forester has prepared a planting plan which proposes labor to be provided by the Tree Trust to plant material purchased by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That up to $4,000 be allocated from the City's MSA Fund to purchase plant material to be planted adjacent to Kreatz Lake The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. ' Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
