HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-725CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th October , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor SchneideF, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent:-Councilmember is the City day of Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 725 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT CUL-DE-SAC AT SOUTH END OF QUAKER LANE SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 55 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Quaker Lane by the installation of bituminous street to complete the cul-de-sac at the South end of said street, South of Highway 55, filed with the Council on October 27, 1986, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota State Statutes, Sections 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasibly: and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjuntion with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement is recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained:. none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
