Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day
of October 1986. The following members were present:
Mavor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the folliwing Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-718
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
DEEP WELL NO. 8
PROJECT NO. 625
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the drilling of Deep Well
No. 8 and all necessary Eppurtenances, bids were received, opened and
tablulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Layne -Western Company, Inc. is the low•2st
responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Layne -Western Company, Inc. in the
name of the City of Plymouth for the drilling of Deep Well No. 8
according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by
the City Council on file in the office of the City Clerk in the
amount of the low bid of $72,386.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain.
Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
