Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of
. October , 1986. The following members were present:

Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-705
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT 647 - MEDICINE LAKE FISH BARRIER
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on September 29,
1986, the Consulting Engineer, Barr Engineering Company, has prepared plans and
specifications with respect for improvement of Plymouth Creek by the
construction of a Fish Barrier approximately 600 feet downstream of 26th
Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertise-
ment for bids upon the making of such improvement under such
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be
published for one day, shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until
10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 1986, at which time they
will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will
be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of
the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
