HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-680CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due rail and notice thereof, a regular __� meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of May October , 1986. The following members werQ present: r Schneider Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk Councilmemb_e_r Zitur ---introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-680 APPROVING CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT COUNTY ROAD 9, COUNTY PROJECT 6901 I-494 TO COUNTY ROAD 18 CITY PROJECT NO. 642 WHEREAS, Agreement for participation in the construction and operation of a new roadway and traffic control signal system on County State Aid Highway No. 9 from I-494 to County Ruad 18, Hennepin County Project 6901, Agreement No. PW 51-17-86 has been prepared and presented to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED: That said Agreement in all things approved as conditioned herein; BE IT FURTHER :J;SOLVED, that the Mayor and Manager are authorized to sign • Agreement No. 51-17-86, Hennepin County Project No. 6901, City Project 642; BE IT FURTHFR RESOLVED, that the following funds be transferred to the Construction Fund (401-000-501-642) to finance said construction: M.S.A. Fund (402-402-965) $ 456,077.90 Storm Sewer Fund (214-214-965) $ 221,781.60 FURTHER, that before that portion of existing County Road 9 from Zachary Lane to Revere Lane is turned back to the City of Plymouth that all necessary recon- struction be undertaken by the County to eliminate the roadway heaving/settlement conditions which occur under frost conditions. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Schneider __1 and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in fav:r thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and •Zitur The fallowing voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
