Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of
October , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and Zitur

Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-679
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECTIFICATIONS
COUNTY PROJECT NO. 6901
COUNTY ROAD 9 - 494 TO COUNTY ROAD 18
CITY PROJECT NO 642
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department of Transportation for Hennepin County has
prepared: plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of
County State Aid Highway No. 9, Project No. 6901, within the corporate limits of
the City of Plymouth, from approximately County Road 18 to I-494; and seeks the
approval thereof;
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and special provisions for the
improvement of said County Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be
and hereby are approved, as conditioned herein, including the alignment,
elevations, grades and cross sections as shown and consent is hereby given to any
and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction.
• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City does hereby agree to provide the enforcement
for the prohibition of on -street parking on that portion of said Project No 6901.
FURTHER, that the plan approval is subject to the plans being revised to provide
an acceleration lane for Westbound traffic exiting French Regional Park.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,Vasiliou, and

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
