HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-673CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of October , 1986. The following members were present: Manor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou. and itur The following members were absent. Councilmember Sisk Councilmember Garin introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-673 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND WOODLANDS ADDITION (84030) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated May 28, 1985, the Zachary Lane Development Corporation, developer of Woodlands Addition (84030) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: PITEM Street Constructicn Sanitary Sewer Watermain Storm Sewer Boulevard b Drainage Swale Sod Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Park and Trail Improvements Site Grading 6 Drainage Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Public Private Public Private $100,000 -0- $ -0- -0- 115,000 -0- -0- -0- 75,500 -0- -0- -0- 70,000 -0- -0- -0- -0- 14,200 -0- 7,100 -0- -0- -0- -0- ..0- 900 -0- 900 -0- -0- -0- -0- -0- 120,000 -0- -0- 43,260 16.212 -0- 852 TOTAL $403,760 $151,3112 $ -0- $ 8,852 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $22,400 to $0 (zero) to reflect the completed work on the public improvements, ' and from $16,912 to $8,852 to reflect the completed work on the private improvements. Resolution No. 86-673 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted as of October 6, 1986 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer.. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control 2`lan, Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: Letter of Credit: ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $ 1,000 $ 1,000 $41,000 $20,000 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ziturand upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou. and Zitur ' The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared dully passed and adopted.
