Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 9th day of October . 1986. The
following members were present: Mayor Schneider�ouncilmembers Crp.ln, as lion, and
Zitur We—
folfowing members were absent: Councilmember Sisk
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-670
ALLOCATING DEFERRED YEAR XII COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been notified that $22,039.00 of additional Year XII
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds are available for eligible CDBG
activities in Funding Year XII; and,
WNFREAS, the Plymouth Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has considered at a duly
called public meeting, the possible options for assigning the use of the funds for
programs which will benefit low to moderate income persons consistent with Federal
guidelines; and,
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing & Redevelopment Authority has recommended that the
additional funds be added to the Year XII Elderly Housing Site Planning & Development
activity project;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does direct that the deferred Community
Development block Grant Funds in the amount of $22,039.00 be allocated for the Year XII
Project, Elderly Horising Site Planning & Development; and,
FURTHER, the City sCaff is hereby directed to notify Hennepin County of the allocation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following -
