Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the C;ty of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day
of October , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayer Schneider, Councilmemhers Crain, Vasiliou, and 71tur
The following members were absent: Councilmemher Sisk
Coun61memhpr Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-642
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 6 AT
THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 101 AND COUNTY ROAD 6
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate the following streets right-of-way:
That part of the Highway Easement as shown in Certificate of Title No. 530767
running in favor of the County of Hennepin described as follows:
beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 30, Township 118, Range 22;
thence North 00 degrees, 05 minutes, 17 seconds East along the East line
of said Section 30, a distance of 938.54 feet to the actual point of
beginning of the Tract to be described; thence South 85 degrees, 49
minutes, 17 seconds West, a distance of 270.54 feet; Lhence along a
tangential curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 1,306.56
feet, a distance of 55.89 feet; thence North 03 degrees, 34 minutes, 18
seconds East, a distance of 125.8 feet to the intersection with a line
parallel with and 40 feet Southerly of the Northeast line of said Tract;
thence South 86 degrees, 25 minutes, 42 seconds East along said parallel
line to the East line of said Section 30; thence, South 00 degrees, 05
minutes, 17 seconds West, a distance of 83.12 feet to the actual point
of beginning and there terminating,
except that part of said Tract which lies Easterly of a line drawn parallel
with, and distant 70 feet West of the East line of said Section 30;
also, except that part of said Tract lying Northerly of the line drawn parallel
with and distant 60 feet South of the survey line of County State Aid Highway
No. 6 as shown in Plat 5, according to the duly recorded plat thereof,
further excepting that part of said Tract lying Northeasterly of a line drawn
from a point on the first above described 70 foot parallel line distant 35 feet
Southerly of its intersection with the last above described 60 foot parallel
line to a point on said last described 60 foot parallel line, distant 35 feet
West of said intersection.
AND, WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for
October 6, 1986 in accordance with Minnesota in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of October 6, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 6, 1986 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the 't-acation of said street; and

rWHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said si.reet is not needed
for public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the above described easements are hereby vacated:
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Vasiliou, and Zitur

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
