HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-638'CITY OF PLYMWTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special â– seting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 29th day of September , 1986. The following members were present: Mayorr Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and stoved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-638 LEVYING TAXES IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 6,903,556 WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 1987 and certain monies `o finance said budgets are required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for the year 1987 as set out in the adopted 1987 City budgets; General Purpose .............................. $ 5,309,200 TOTAL GENERAL PURPOSE Special Levies: Infrastructure Replacement ................. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken tbereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain_ Sisk, and Zitur . The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Vasi iou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
