Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 29th day of
September , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou_ and Zitur
The following members were absent: no0e
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0, 86-633
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO 1 AND FINAL
1986 SEAL COAT AND CURB REPAIR PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as rwner and Allied Blacktop, Inc., Minneapolis,
Minnesota as contractor have entered into an agreement for the seal coating of
certain streets, said agreement being dated June 16, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval
of the final request for payment:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $210,572.19 and the value of
the work completed to date is $214,262.44.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the 1986 Seal Coating
Program and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable
be and the same is hereby released from _he contract except as to
the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of
the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after
final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 1 and Final in the amount of $214,262.44 to
Allied Black --op, Inc. for the Improvement is hereby approved and
tha City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay
the same forthwith from Fund 101-172-810.13.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk. Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
