HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-631CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 29th day of September , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-631 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO 6 AND FINAL 45TH/46TH AVENUE - UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 225 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Northdale Construction Co. as contractor have entered into an agreement for the 45th/46th Avenue Utility and Street Improvement Project, City Project No. 225, said agreement being dated July 10, 1985; and WHnREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $522,634.50, one (1) change order was approved in the amount of $22,966.25 and the value of the work to date is $575,616,68, 2. That the work performed by the contractor for the 45th/46th Street Improvement Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable be and the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 6 and Final in the amount of $51,202.53 to Northdale Construction Co. for the 45th/46th Utility and Street Improvement Project is hereby approved and the City Cinance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the some forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted to favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmelmbers Crain, Sisk.
