HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-611CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of ttiF City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 29th day of September , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk, Vasiliou. and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTICH N0. 86-611 RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS PLYMOUTH CREEK FISH BARRIER PROJECT NO. 647 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of a fish barrier on Plymouth Creek, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY TOTAL BID Lametti and Sons, Inc. $144,600.60 B 6 D Underground, Inc. $124,723.50 AND WHEREAS, the bids received exceed the Engineer's estimate for the project; and 10AND, WHEREAS, it is recommended that the bids be rejected, that the plans and specifications be modified and that the project be rebid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the bids received on September 23, 1986 for the Plymot..h Creek Fish Barrier be rejected and the project be redesigned by the Engineer and readvertised for bids. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
