Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
of September , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Siak_ Vaailinti, and 7ir,ir
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-589
CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
DELINQUENT WATER, SEWER AND STREET LIGHTING OR
ANNUAL STREET LIGHTING FOR UNIMPROVED PARCELS
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 15, 1986 the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certain charges for
delinquent water, sewer and street lighting and street lighting for unimproved
parcels which have not been paid as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been compl..ced and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the 6th day of October 1986 in the City
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such
improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to
such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at
least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the
total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice
to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
