Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reizu ar _ meeting of the City
. Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
of Sevtember , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain- Sisk, Vasilinu,._and 7ifur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Vasilio, introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 582
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 6 AT
THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 101 AND COUNTY ROAD 6
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Red Owl Stores, Inc. and Welsh
Construction Corporation, through their attorney have petitioned the City
Council for the vacation of the following street right-of-way:
That part of the Highway Easement as shown in Certificate of Title No.
530767 running in favor of the County of Hennepin described as follows:
beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 30, Township 118,
Range 22; thence North 00 degrees, 05 minutes, 17 seconds East
sling the East line of said Section 30, a distance of 938.54 feet
:o the actual point of beginning of the Tract to be described;
thence South 85 degrees, 49 minutes, 17 seconds West, a distance of
270.54 feet; thence along a tangential curve to the right, said
10 curve having a radius of 1,306.56 feet, a distance of 55.89 feet;
thence North 03 degrees, 34 minutes, 18 seconds East, a distance of
125.8 feet to the intersection with a line parallel with and 40
feet Southerly of the Northeast line of said Tract; thence South 86
degrees, 25 minutes, 42 seconds East along said parallel line to
the East line of said Section 30; thence, South 00 degrees, 05
minutes, 17 seconds West, a distance of 83.12 feet to the actual
point of beginning and there terminating,
except that part of said Tract which lies Easterly of a line drawn
parallel with, and distant 70 feet West of the East line of said Section
30,
also, except that part of said Tract lying Northerly of the line drswn
parallel with and distant 60 feet South of the survey line of County State
Aid Highway No. 6 as shown in Plat 5, according to the duly recorded plat

further excepting that part of said Tract lying Northeasterly of s line
drawn frGm a point on the first above described 70 foot parallel line
distant 35 feet Southerly of its intersection with the last above
described 60 foot parallel line to a point on said last described 60 foot
parallel line, distant 35 feet West of said intersection.
AND, WHEREAS, Hennepin County has adopted Resolution No. 86-8-610 vacating the
above described portion of Highway Easement.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the astne tri

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of October 6, 1986
at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and
directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilsoubers Crain.
