Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regul meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
of September , 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Cour.cilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-581
REIMBURSING DEVELOPER FOR STREET CONSTRUCTION ON 34TH AVENGE IN
PARK PLACE ADDITION (82049)
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth and The Tipton Corporation have entered into a
development contract dated November 14, 1984 for the development of Park Place
Addition; and
WHEREAS, as part of this development the developer was required to construct
34th Avenue within the Plat of Park Place Addition and adjacent to the Park
property in order to conform with the City of Plymouth's overall Thoroughfare
Guide Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for
certain construction coats detailed in the Development Contract; and
WHEREAS, this amounts to $48,900.00; and
WHEREAS, 34th Avenue has been constructed as require., and accepted for
continual maintenance of August 4, 1986 per Resolution 86-474:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that the developer, The Tipton Corporation, is to be reimbursed in the
amount of $48,900.00 for construction of 34th Avenue based on the alignment and
typical section in the approved construction plans.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated from the Municipal State Aid
Account 402-402-902,
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Counci".,member Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou.,and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
